Coaching details and information

Activities

Typically, the following activities occur in a coaching situation (on a personalised basis):

  • information transfer
  • knowledge development
  • problem solving for real-time problems
  • decision-making support
  • feedback

Packages

Generally coaching is sold in groups of three sessions although it is available in single sessions also. Packages include preparation, the facilitating of the session on each occasion plus travel and materials. The fees also enable opportunities for quick advice by phone, email or text between sessions at no extra charge (where multiples are booked).

Sessions

Each session is new learning supported by appropriate materials plus problem solving regarding client-led issues. There is a developmental thrust in the work undertaken and (oftentimes) the motivational profile of the client is key to the planning of sessions.

Sometimes clients want advice and help with business opportunities or with career moves or, other times, their coaching is related to the weight of everyday decisions or imminent or actual change programmes.

Value

Coaching is a very valuable exercise because it provides learning and support that is personalised to, and designed for, an individual's strengths and areas of growth.
